Eda Şahan studied in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Illumination and Division of Book Binding then earned her MA in Yeditepe University upon Art Management.

She was trained in Florence Palazzo Spinelli, Italy in the fields of paper and book conservation and attended Art of Selling Art Education Program in San Francisco University.

She can speak English and German.

Eda Şahan participates in several exhibitions at home and abroad since 1997. Illumination is a traditional art but needs to be personalized. I think that performances of mine are much more modern in comparison to traditional illumination works.
