Fatma Tuncer earned her BA in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Universtiy Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, Old Fabric Patterns - Traditional Carpet and Rug between 2003 and 2007 and now in MA program of the same department.

Now, she gives design lessons in Pera Moda Design Course.

Fatma Tuncer who has attended several group exhibitions can speak English.

" I design fabric patterns and miniatures through using different branches of traditional arts like miniature, paper marbling and mosaic together and facilitate from legends and historical buildings of Istanbul. I consider them as a field of design without any border where we can add new meanings by connecting past and present and giving our own artistic point of view."
