Graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Pharmacy

She took illumination and miniature lessons from Cahide Keskiner and Sabiha Koç.

The artist who teaches the art of illumination in Aziz Berker Library between 2001 and 2004 and founded Altın Oran Art House with Dilek and Murat Selamet in 2003.

Güher Erk opened four personal exhibitions; three in Istanbul and one in Paris and also participated in many group exhibitions. 

She can speak English

She was awarded with prize in illumination branch in the 7th State Turkish Decorative Arts Contest held by Turkish Republic Ministry of Culture in 1993.
