He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Department of Ceramics and Glass.

İsmail Koçak has made remarkable contribution to West and Anatolian art synthesis and works as a decorator in Yıldız Tile and Porcelain Factory and good command of English.

He was awarded with 2^nd Prize in Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Painting Contest Exhibitions (2009-2010) and honarary prize in Altın Testi Ceramics Contest.

" It is our main duty to maintain produce of special samples of porcelain art realized with traditional methods for 125 years today. In the production of one hundred percent hand made porcelain decorating which is only carried out in Yıldız Porselen Factory in the world, aesthetic and art are of first priority. Classical Turkish tile and porcelain patters are produced according to their originals.  The production based on quality in terms of conveying past to the future is mostly out of commercial concerns. The relation of our products with modern world  can be achieved by means of establishing of a culture and art bridge from past to future and providing the production of our aestetical values inherited from our andestors successfully and making it common and well known. "
