After studying upon Finance in the university, he carried out some researches in several universities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Peyami Güreli has been performing traditional arts since 1979 and carried out researches regarding calligraphy, miniature, illumination, paper marbling and painting.

Still serves in İstanbul Sanatevi he founded in 1993 and raises students.

He can speak English.

" Nowadays, it may be asserted that the art of paper marbling attains its voice because it turns into a kind of plastic art. In order to understand the interest in traditional arts in the society we should look at its rate among plastic arts. In my opinion there is no such high interest as supposed to be."
