She studied Law at Istanbul University and has worked as an advocate between 1988 and 2010.

She is one of the founders of Istanbul Bar Association Women Rights Center and published books entitled with Kadının El Kitabı (The Guide of Women), PEÇİÇ – Evrensel Bir Strateji Oyunu (PECIC - A Universal Strategy Game).

" I had much interest in Under-glass art for a long time. As I was born in Gaziantep, I suppose that I have natural hand skills of the region. I have dealt with the art of under-glass during serving as a lawyer in addition to that I own an under-glass collection brought together for many years. It is my target to be one of the creators of this art and make efforts to protect it from being neglected."
