Nazım Örki has been interested in kalemişi (hand drawn), mosaic and stained glass arts since 1982 and received lessons from Ragıp Çiçen, Çiçek Derman ve Serap Özcan 

Nazım Örki attended fairs in Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Algeria, Kabardino-Balkaria, Libya, Iraq and Turkmenistan and performed kalemişi (hand drawn), mosaic and stained glass works in mosque, hotel, and villa and building projects. 

" I work on traditional Seljuk, Ottoman and modern design special to places and in compliance with architectural concept and desire to introduce Ottoman and Seljuk decorative arts to large crowds. In addition to old materials I also employ technological materials. "
