Marbling

Graduated from Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty

İsmail Dündar gave her permission to be authorized to sign her own marbling works according to marbling traditions.  

She teached in Cihangir and Firuzağa Elementary Schools and Üsküdar Cumhuriyet Vocational High School on marbling between the year 2008 and 2009 and is now giving lessons in Fener Rum High School.

She can speak English.

"Marbling Art knows to be a Turkish Art around the world and it is such an art on the surface of water; no matter whichever and whatever colours are used together they do not mix with each other and colours are scattered on the water and drawn through brush and then drawing is taken on a marbling paper. The abundance and variety of materials today make it very easier for artists. I think we should make innovations for our names by improving motifs and design without giving any harm to the tradition."
