Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, Illumination.

He teaches in ISMEK, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Traditional Turkish Arts Foundation and National Palaces.

" Thanks to miniature art I have been following for 25 years I feel myself as one of those happy people in minority who get pleasure out of life.  I endeavor to put new interpretation on this art pursuant to tradition education we received. I mostly concentrated on old and new Istanbul themes. I use saturated combinations in colours (mixing original colours and by means of which getting new colours); modern techniques (computer, airbrush etc.), valuable materials (mother of pearl, turtle binder etc.)"
