Füsun Türkeli received illumination lessons from Gülbün Mesara and miniature from Nusret Çolpan.

" Traditional decorative arts are such kind of disciplines where discipline and patience are at most importance that acts as a bridge between past and present and allows understanding the history much better. 

It is possible to realize contemporary performances based on maintaining its traditional rules and interior discipline. I make large scale designs in which gold is mostly employed, elegant and detailed, as much as possible. As for miniatures, I work on urban and place miniatures taking the architecture of places into the consideration."
