"Podima (A Short of Ground Flooring with Stones) and Kalemişi (Hand drawn) are two art branches observed throughout the history, needs to be protected, recognized and maintained. Today modern versions are being performed but there remains few old masters. Podima is employed in spaces with open courtyards, gardens, walkways and landscape works. As for Kalemişi, it is facilitated in restoration works, interior designs and decoration of new buildings. It is possible to say that traditional Turkish motifs or motifs belong to other cultures are employed in compliance with the periods and works carried out."
